About Me.

Originally from the United States, Keenya graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago with a dual degree in Social Policy and Legal Studies. Her passion for sustainability and social responsibility developed early, pushing her to lead student volunteer trips to El Salvador and Costa Rica. Shortly after graduating, she received the New York City Teaching Fellowship to raise student achievement in inner city schools. After 3 challenging, but rewarding, years working with the New York City Department of Education, Keenya moved to Paris, France for all the "joie de vivre", which is where she currently resides with her miniature poodle.

Fluent in French and English, Keenya graduated with a Master in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and worked for three years as a Corporate Social Responsibility professional at a Paris-based French multinational company. In 2019, she began her MA in Translation at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Keenya is passionate about community engagement, and in her spare time enjoys her role as Content Director for City Talks/Paris Talks: A Conference on the Future of Humanity

Keenya also enjoys participating in conferences and speaking engagements around sustainability, networking, and women's empowerment. She has been featured on France 24 and Radio France Internationale.  Her past collaborations include personal development workshops with Paris for Her and the American University in Paris. In 2017, she released her first book, 30-Day Connect: A "guide" to expanding your network and unlocking your potential.

As a dual citizen (USA & France), Keenya is open to clients and professional projects in the United States and across the European Union.
